or you may install a PHP module for your HTTP server, e.g. www/ap-php.

location, and module should be auto-loaded:
/opt/pkg/etc/php.d/mbstring.ini

If you use custom /opt/pkg/etc/php.ini, or nonstandard module
configuration file location, you might need to add explicit load directive:
